Tianwen-1 Mars probe
Tianwen-1, China's first unmanned Mars probe, was sent into selected orbit by a Long March 5 Y4 carrier rocket from the Wenchang Space Launch Center in South China's Hainan Province on July 23, 2020.
The probe is scheduled to operate in the Earth-Mars transfer orbit for about seven months before it enters Mars orbit.
The carrier rocket, the circulator, probe and the Mars rover of the mission were all developed by central SOEs.
