Long March-7 Y6 Carrier Rocket Transported to Wenchang Space Launch Center

A Long March-7 Y6 carrier rocket, scheduled to take on the Tianzhou-5 cargo spaceship launch mission, was transported to the Wenchang Space Launch Center in South China's Hainan Province on Oct 11.

Next, the carrier rocket and the cargo spaceship will go through general assembly and various kinds of testing.

The space station modules, manned spaceship, cargo spaceship and the relay satellites as well as the Long March series that launched the previous spacecrafts used in China’s space station program were all developed by China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation.

Construction of China's space station has now entered the last stage, and the launch of Tianzhou-5 and Shenzhou-15, and return of Shenzhou-14 are scheduled to be carried out this year.
