On November 4, 2024, the Cabinda water supply project in Angola, constructed by China Railway Construction Corporation Limited, successfully passed all requirements for acceptance and was officially handed over to the local people.

Built to Chinese standards, it stands as the Angolan government’s most significant investment in improving livelihoods within Cabinda Province. It also stands as Angola’s most high-standard, intelligent, and modern water supply system.

With a daily water supply capacity of 50,000 cubic meters, it ensures uninterrupted supply of tap water 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for the local residents, allowing 600,000 people to drink clean water.
