In June, the "Kyushu" computing power optical network with technologies of 400G high-speed transmission, was put into operation. Independently developed by China Mobile Communications Group Co., Ltd. (China Mobile) in collaboration with companies on the domestic industrial chain, the project is the first and largest one with the widest coverage.
This new infrastructure has created a "super transmission system" for computing data that spans from the east to the west and radiates from hubs. It extends the development space in the eastern region of China, boosts the vitality of the digital economy in the west, comprehensively supporting the improvement of the national computing services.
